	The term “Microcredentials” is growing and changing. It is often used interchangeably with microcertifications and can be spelled with or without a hyphen.
	Microcredentials are used in a wide variety of fields and disciplines including but not limited to: education, healthcare, and engineering.
	Microcredentials are used throughout healthcare education from degree programs to post-degree continuing professional development
	Training methods and trends are constantly evolving, but microcredentialing is here to stay. Research shows links between reduced attention span and the efficacy of microlearning and as younger generations enter the workforce, the demand for microcredentialing will grow exponentially.
